Student and Family Resources

Information For New College Students:

First-year students are encouraged to make use of all campus resources as needed—from academic to social and professional. The Academic Resource Center (ARC) might provide if those grammar skills are a bit rusty. RAs can answer questions about Sweet Briar and give advice or just lend an ear for any number of situations. Campus Safety and Residence Life staff members are there if there is an after-hours emergency. The Career Services Center can help if your looking to spruce up that resume for a campus job or summer internship. This list goes on and on!
